Sixth Form Fashion Show raises £7,000 for The Christie

King’s sixth Form students proved they have brains, beauty and business acumen when they raised a huge £7,000 for The Christie with a sell-out Fashion Show.

The fabulous event was planned, choreographed and executed entirely by the Sixth Form students and attracted an audience of well over 300 parents, pupils, staff and friends. The event had a glitter and gold theme and featured disco classics such as Mambo Number 5, Club Tropicana and It’s Raining Men.

Organiser and student Olivia Bowcock said: “A massive thank you goes to the brilliant Boohoo for lending us all the clothes for the evening and to Thomas Cook for donating so many fantastic raffle prizes."

Over the last decade, the annual King's Fashion Show has raised well over £50,000 for The Christie.
