The glorious gardens at Hilltop Country House Hotel provided a perfect summer evening’s backdrop for King’s School’s Year 13 leavers to sign off their school days in style.

The end of year dinner dance for departing A Level students is always a milestone occasion as friends celebrate together to mark the end of their exams and prepare to go their separate ways as they head off for a wonderful new life at university, taking a gap year or joining the workplace.

The young men and women mixed with teachers and staff and remembered the good, the hilarious and the not to be mentioned moments from their school lives.

King’s Headmaster Dr Simon Hyde said: “These young people have their lives ahead of them and epitomise a sense of adventure and optimism. It’s been an immense pleasure to work with them all over their school careers, they have made an outstanding contribution to school life and we wish them the very best for coming years.”
