A number of means-tested bursaries are available for pupils applying for admission into the Senior Divisions. The level of award is determined by parental need and school funds available but a strong performance in the Entrance Examination is also required for an award.
Detailed financial information is required to support an application for a bursary and an applicant will need to complete a KSB1 form in advance of the Entrance Examination. All information is, of course, kept strictly confidential. Each award is assessed on an individual basis and is reviewed annually in the light of changes in parental circumstances. The award is tenable throughout the holder’s career in the Senior School subject to good conduct and progress.
Bursaries are awarded in February, for the following September. It should be noted that the number of applications for bursaries usually exceeds the funds available.
