Infants celebrate Harvest

King’s Infants Molly and Ethan sit among a treasure trove of autumn bounty before the school’s traditional harvest festival.

King’s donations will go to Shrigley Court in Bollington with the Head of Infants Emma Warburton taking the harvest bags to distribute during a community-wide event at the home next week.

Mrs Warburton said: “The harvest festival enables us to educate children that our food doesn¹t just arrive ready made, but has to be cultivated and harvested.  It is also a good opportunity to remind the children how lucky they are and invite them to share their good fortune with the wider community.”
