From The Principal

It is my great privilege to welcome you to King's Boys, where the distinctive strengths of the Foundation are clearly evident. As the founder member of the King's Foundation, King's Boys has over 500 years of history and tradition and is justifiably proud of its heritage. However, this is a school firmly focussed on the future.

We really do believe that we have the best of all worlds here and I would like to encourage you to come to our school to experience the very happy atmosphere and to appreciate our aspirations for the boys. We would like to share with you their achievements and the extensive opportunities they enjoy. The boys at King's, and I, believe that we are part of something very special and truly unique.

Three things make King’s Boys special:

Single-sex education in the classroom from eleven to sixteen – this is highly beneficial at this stage of your son’s development.  It allows each boy to learn in an environment that is focused upon him achieving his full potential under the guidance of highly qualified and experienced staff.

King’s Boys is small – about 500 pupils – which means that the personal development of each boy is carefully nurtured in a supportive environment.

King’s is a large school that has a wealth of resource and expertise to draw on.  The boys have unparalleled opportunities through clubs, societies and joint activities with King’s Girls.  The School believes in all round education.
