One of the special things about King's is its setting, which offers enormous advantages over city sites. Macclesfield is an ancient market town on the edge of the Peak District.

In the centre of Macclesfield, our Cumberland Street site (SK10 1DA) serves both King's Boys and Sixth Form. Half a mile to the east, the Fence Avenue site (SK10 1LS) houses King's Girls, Juniors and Infants.

The school is also well served by the local bus services and by the railway.  Both railway and bus stations are within a ten minute walk from the school.  Train journey times are quick and convenient e.g. Prestbury 4 minutes, Congleton 9 minutes, Poynton 10 minutes, Bramhall 13 minutes, Cheadle Hulme 16 minutes, Stockport and Stoke 20 minutes, Manchester Piccadilly 28 minutes.
