In order to provide an early drop-off facility for parents, we offer a Breakfast Club which runs from 8.00am until the start of school. The sessions will cost £3.50 from September 2012 and include a selection of cereals, bread rolls, milk, juice or water.
The school days ends at 3.40pm, but for parents who are unable to pick up their children before 4.00pm there is an After-School Club. Here children have an initial period of relaxation where tea is taken, followed by a time of fun activities and outside play. At 4.45 they settle down quietly to tackle homework after which they enjoy craft activities, indoor games etc. Children may stay until 6.00pm, although they may be picked up at any time before that. There is a flat-rate charge per session for this service which, from September 2012, will be £7.50.
A number of holiday clubs are also available, details of which are circulated to all parents in advance. For example, King’s offers a Summer Club (only available to King’s School Infant and Junior children), during the first three weeks of our summer holiday.
