Positions of Responsibility

Sixth Formers contribute to school life by holding positions of responsibility from Prefects through to School Officers. The active Sixth Form Council meets regularly with the Principal and Vice Principal discussing and developing all aspects of Sixth Form life. In addition, the student Charities and Social Committee run events to raise thousands of pounds annually for charity.

Many students help to run a club or society for younger pupils and also train as Peer Supporters.  Supporters meet regularly with pupils in Year 7, 8 and 9 to help them with settling in, establishing good working habits etc.  The training, provided by a visiting specialist, helps students to develop listening and conversational skills.
