King’s Cheerleaders are the best in Britain

Let’s hear if for the King’s Girls’ Division cheerleaders who are the best in Britain at every age group.
A stunning 121 girls took part in four different categories at the National Schools’ Cheerleading Championships at the Manchester Velodrome and they came back to Macclesfield holding every title.
King’s Kittens at Year 7 won the KS3 beginners’ class; King’s Cats at Year 8 won the KS3 intermediate class; King’s Simbas at Year 9 won the KS3 advanced class and King’s Cubs at Years 10 and 11 won KS4 advanced class.
Award-winning King’s gymnastics, cheerleading and trampoline coach Rachel Burrows said: “I am so proud of all the girls especially those that have grown in confidence over the year through their cheerleading. Not many of us ever get to say we are a national champion.”
