To really appreciate all that King's has to offer, and to experience first-hand our friendly community, we would encourage you to visit our school. We offer both organised events, such as Open Days and Taster Days, as well as mid-week Tours which are for small groups of families (typically 2 or 3 families) or individual families (by request).
We would be delighted to welcome you on a normal school day to see us in action. We offer a list of dates when tours are available, usually in the mornings, so that you can see us on a normal working day. For details of available dates and to book, please contact the Admissions Department.
Infant & Junior Taster Afternoon

Children and their parents are invited to spend the afternoon in school. Children are able to join classes from Year1 through to Year 6 and experience learning on a normal school day, whilst parents can speak to staff about our unique curriculum and the vast array of opportunities on offer, as well as look around our classrooms, extensive outdoor areas and new sports facilities. Infants: Dare to Discover!
Saturday 9 March, 10am - 12noon
Children considering joining King's Pre-School, Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 classes are invited to join us for a fun morning of exploration and discovery. Themed around exploring Science and Maths topics, children will be able to take part in a range of age-appropriate activities in our indoor and outdoor classroom and learning areas. Our Open Afternoon offers you the opportunity to come and look round our Infants & Juniors and learn about our innovative and engaging curriculum, as well as the broad range of sports and clubs on offer. Senior School Taster Day (for Year 7 entry in 2020) - Friday 5 July 2019
A fun-packed day for children currently in Year 5 to come and learn about what life is like in King’s Senior Divisions. The event runs for the whole day, from 9.15am – 3.20pm (lunch and snacks included). Pupils from all schools are invited to experience first-hand the opportunities for learning and enrichment available at King's. Parents are warmly invited to join us for afternoon tea as they come to collect their children so that they too can gain an insight into what is special about King’s. Please complete the booking form and we recommend that you apply early.
Sixth Form Open Evening (for entry in 2020) - Wednesday tbc October 2019, 6.30pm
All academic departments and our modern Sixth Form Centre will be open for you to visit. As well as meeting our staff and current Sixth Form pupils, you will be able to learn more about subject choices, sports provision, preparation for university and our careers service. Register here.
Whole School Open Day - Saturday tbc October 2019, 10am - 1pm
Our open day in the Autumn term is designed to provide parents and children with an insight into 'life at King's' and show all that we have to offer future pupils. Please come along to meet our staff and pupils, have your questions answered, see plans for our new campus and hear from our Headmaster and Principals. You will be shown around the school by our pupils and there will be plenty of opportunities to meet staff and enjoy refreshments. Sixth Form Options Evening

An evening designed to give potential Sixth Form students a greater understanding of the subject choices available and the syllabus content. Every academic department will give talks describing the content of their A Level courses. External applicants are most welcome to attend to meet our staff and current students. Register here.
'Life at King's'
January 2020 (10am - 12 noon)
Aimed at those 11+ pupils who are registered to take our Senior Entrance Examination in 2020, this is a morning designed to give parents of Year 6 pupils more detail about our curriculum, our pastoral structure, outstanding extra-curricular offer and school life in general.
