Admissions
King's is a selective school and the admissions for all age groups are handled by our Admissions Department, who would be only too happy to answer your questions. At King's, we do all we can to guide you through the process to make it as straightforward as possible.

At King's we deliver a broad and innovative curriculum, within a supportive and stimulating learning environment that fosters an atmosphere of intellectual challenge. One of our core aims is ‘to develop lively and enquiring minds’ with an inclusive approach to challenge and enrichment.

Co-Curricular
We are renowned for our excellence in music, drama, sport and other extra-curricular activities as well as being one of the largest Duke of Edinburgh Award Centres in the Country. Co-curricular opportunities start in the Infants right through to the Sixth Form.

Holiday Clubs

Our Holiday Clubs provide a vibrant, welcoming environment where children can make friends, explore new interests and have plenty of fun during the school holidays. Run by our experienced and qualified staff, the clubs offer parents peace of mind knowing their children are safe, happy and well cared for within the familiar surroundings of The King’s School.

Each day is thoughtfully planned to include a variety of engaging activities — from creative arts and crafts to outdoor adventures and sports — ensuring there’s something for every child to enjoy. With a balance of play, learning and relaxation, our Holiday Clubs turn time away from the classroom into a memorable and enriching experience.

We offer two holiday camps: King's Cubs - for King's Infant & Junior pupils from Pre-School to end of Year 6 (excluding the summer holidays). During the summer holidays, King's Cubs is only open to Infant pupils (Pre-School to Year 2). King's Lions Camps - are open to children aged 8 - 13.
