Friday 1 July, 9am - 3.20pm
Children are invited to spend the day in our senior school, to experience lessons and find out what it is like to be a student at King's.
It is my great privilege to welcome you to King's Seniors, which has gained an amazing reputation for outstanding academic results, at the same time as supporting our students and providing a happy, friendly and caring environment in which our students flourish. You only need to speak to our students to understand how happy and fond of the school they are - not to mention the enormous range of activities and opportunities in which they are engaged.
I would like to encourage you to come to our school to experience the caring, purposeful atmosphere and to appreciate our aspirations for the students. The students at King's, and I, believe that we are part of something very special and truly unique.
Mrs Helen Broadley, Principal
With over 500 years of history, we are justifiably proud of our heritage. However, this is a school firmly focussed on the future, with a new curriculum, new sporting facilities and a vibrant, happy environment.
We really do believe that we have the best of all worlds here: our students enjoy significant success in their academic studies whilst participating in a huge array of sport, music, art, drama and other opportunities that are on offer. We believe in all-round education and we offer more than 100 clubs, societies, activities and sports. Our students are able to learn and grow under the guidance of our experienced, enthusiastic and talented teachers. The senior division is small enough to ensure that the personal development of each student is carefully nurtured in a supportive environment.
“School life at King's has been a positive experience and a foundation which I believe will stand my son in good stead for his future. He is proud to have been a “King’s Boy” and I am delighted and appreciative that he has benefitted from all the very best that Kings has to offer. ”
