A fun-packed day for children currently in Year 5 to come and learn about what life is like in King’s Senior School. The event runs for the whole day, from 9am – 3.20pm (lunch and snacks included) at our Alderley Road site. Pupils from all schools are invited to experience first-hand the opportunities for learning and enrichment available at King's. Parents are warmly invited to join us for afternoon tea as they come to collect their children so that they too can gain an insight into what is special about King’s. BOOKING is essential and will open in the Autumn term.

Wednesday 29 SEPTEMBER 2021

This year, our families and those looking to join King's will be invited to an Open Evening on Wednesday 29 September 2021.

This open evening will allow prospective parents and students an opportunity to hear from our Sixth Form staff, current Sixth Form students and to tour the school.

Saturday 9 October 2021

We are currently planning to throw open our doors on Saturday 9 October for prospective families considering joining King's.

Our pupils will act as expert tour guides and you will be able to visit all areas of the school, learn more about our curriculum, meet our staff, hear from the Head Mr Jason Slack, chat to pupils about their experiences and to see for yourself our fantastic campus.

Last year's Open Day was a virtual event, so we can share with you the series of short talks and films, which should help give you an insight into 'life at King's' and what we have to offer future pupils. Please register below to receive access to these presentations or register to attend our next Open Day on 9 October.

An evening designed to give potential Sixth Form students a greater understanding of the subject choices available and the syllabus content. This year, the event will take place as a Virtual Event.

An event for 11+ pupils who are registered for, or are considering sitting, the Senior Entrance Examination in January 2022. 

This year, our event was a virtual event and we can share with you the series of short talks and films, which detail the delivery of the curriculum at King's and our pastoral care.

We recently held a virtual (online) event for families wishing to 'see inside' our Infants.  A short film will show you around our Pre-School, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms, introduce you to key members of the teaching team.  As well as footage of pupils in their learning environments, we have taken the opportunity to allow you to hear first-hand from some of our best ambassadors: our pupils and our parents.  We also held a live Q&A session with parents.

Children considering joining King's Pre-School or Reception classes are invited to join us for a fun morning of exploration and discovery. The taster session will allow children to get hands-on, while parents can speak to staff about our outstanding Early years provision.
