King's provides the very best learning environment for its pupils and our programme of development helps to make this possible. In 1502, former Lord Mayor of London John Percyvale left an endowment in his will to establish a school in his home town of Macclesfield. Our school was born. Since then, the generosity of former pupils, parents and staff have led to the continued growth and success of the school. 

Many former pupils choose to pass on the benefits of their education at King's by donating to our Bursary Fund. One in 10 pupils at King's receive some kind of financial assistance and, for those children, their bursary is life-changing. By contributing to our Bursary Fund, you help provide financial assistance to talented students who might otherwise miss out on the opportunities that King’s has to offer. Your support ensures that ability, not circumstance, defines a child’s future.

Archiving Our History – protecting over five centuries of stories 
Our school’s history is rich and fascinating but preserving it takes resources. We are committed to digitising and archiving old documents, photographs, and artifacts so that future generations can explore and learn from our past. 

Your support will: 
- Fund professional conservation and digitisation 
- Create an online archive accessible to alumni and researchers 
- Protect fragile items for centuries to come 

Sponsor a Sports Team 
Sport is at the heart of our school community. By sponsoring one of our teams, you’ll help provide equipment, kit, and travel opportunities for competitions. Your sponsorship will not only boost performance but also foster teamwork, resilience, and pride among our pupils.
