Whilst The King’s School dates back to 1502, it is housed on a state-of-the art campus in rural Prestbury which was opened in 2020. Our 80-acre campus offers modern architecture and facilities set within immaculate grounds, boasting extensive sporting facilities as well as a woodland, stream, orchards and beehives - making it an attractive setting for a variety of corporate or community uses.

As a forward-looking school, the King’s campus was designed not just for pupils but for the wider community too, and it offers a range of venues including an impressively large Jackson Hall (950-seat), a separate Recital Hall (200-seat) for musical performances, a Drama Hall and Dining Room as well as a lecture theatre, multiple science laboratories, indoor and outdoor classrooms and sports facilities, a large Sports Hall (1,000m²), Indoor Cricket Centre, swimming pool, dance studio and gym, all of which benefit from good access roads and large convenient car parks.

Our facilities are generally available during the 13-week school holidays, as well as some weekends and evenings. They are perfectly suited to a wide range of events and functions, from courses and conferences to theatre and music performances.

The King’s campus is on Alderley Road, Prestbury, SK10 4SP. It is less than 4 miles to Alderley Edge, 1.3 miles to Prestbury village, 2.3 miles to Macclesfield train station, 6 miles to Wilmslow town centre and 8 miles to Congleton town centre.
