Overall, the picture is one of a thriving school providing an excellent education for the pupils in its care, which is enthusiastically endorsed and appreciated by parents. Parents wholeheartedly praise the dedication and encouragement that their child receives from the staff, the way the School develops each child and the breadth of the education provided, as well as stating that the School’s buildings and facilities are impressive.

• 80% of parents who completed the survey said they were very satisfied or satisfied with the academic progress made by their child this year.
• For Academic Challenge, 84% of parents rated the School as Excellent or Good
• 90% of respondents said the feedback on their child's progress (assessment reports and gradecards) were excellent or good.
• 96% of respondents rate general communications from the school as excellent or good.
• 90% of respondents rate the School's endeavours to promote equality, diversity, tolerance and mutual respect as excellent or good.
• Parents are strong advocates for the School – almost all parents (97%) would recommend King’s to friends.

Surveys are important in identifying what parents think we need to do better. Nearly all aspects of school life were commended by parents. However, the areas that parents raised as areas that might be improved were provision of catering and the stock/supply of uniform. We will endeavour to make further improvements in all of these areas in line with our aim to be a 'listening and learning' organisation.
