Year 8 pupils enjoyed two full days of outdoor activities, as part of our Character Development programme.
Pupils enjoyed a range of activities to help develop their teamworking, communication, resilience and collaboration skills. As well as overnight camping with the necessary tent building, pupils engaged in shelter building, camouflaging, scrambling, hiking to Lud's Church, bridge building at Gradbach and walking to the Roaches. Many pupils developed a new found love of Parkour and abseiling, with expert tuition at the Roaches, and were able to enjoy the breath-taking landscapes that are found in our region. Pupils returned with a whole range of new experiences and skills under their belts, and more than ready for a good night's sleep!
