We are pleased to report that we have now reached the £2.5million mark of our £3million fundraising target. We would like to thank all of those who have contributed towards and supported this campaign so far. Having secured major donations for the Front Cricket Field (Wilson Field) and the Bridge over Dumbah Wood and along with several room dedications, naming of seats, planting of trees and another 2020 donor, we remain on course to achieve our £3m target.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to the School’s Hardship Fund during the pandemic. Some 60 King’s families have been hit particularly hard by Covid-19 and have applied for financial help with paying fees during the summer term and may continue to need this help in the autumn term. We anticipate that between the start of the lockdown and the end of the year, the amount of hardship funds will equate to £125,000.
Our target for this one-off campaign is to raise £50,000 to help bridge the gap, so that we are able to keep these children in the school with their teachers and friends. Thanks to the generous donations of some of our former pupils we are halfway to reaching this.
If you would like further information on supporting the school, whether it is contributing towards Our Shared Future campaign for the new campus, the Hardship or Bursary Fund, please email Lauren.Tidey@kingsmac.co.uk for more information, or you can also find our fundraising brochure and donation form on the Support Us page.
