The bittersweet night at the fabulous Hilltop Country House in Prestbury not only marked the end of exams but also saw some long goodbyes as they depart for different universities in the autumn. Some students have been at King’s since Pre-School, whilst others joined for the final two years of Sixth Form, but for all it is the end of one chapter and the start of another.
What was not lacking was style and sophistication; as they left their school wear behind for colourful, flowing ball gowns, sharp suits and also a few kilts.
Principal of King's Sixth Form, Donna Jestin, who headed the staff table, said: " They arrived in the Sixth Form as keen students and leave us future ready and prepared for their life after King's. We look forward to hearing of their endeavours and successes and welcoming them back to King's in the coming years."
