The following four teams won the national title:
Year 1-6 novice team of Gracie Russell, Sophia Shaw, Eva Tarplee and Ava Greenway.
Year 7-9 intermediate girls: Tilly Fox, Lily Hardcastle, Sophia Kong, Connie O’Doherty.
Year 10-14 intermediate boys: Otis Hughes, Benito Golia-Foxley, Joseph Bailey Heald, Matt Gass.
Year 9-10 boys Novice: Kaan Kafescioglu, Noah Golia-Foxley, Zac Al Aussi, Cody Storey.
Silver Medallists taking 2nd place:
⁃ Year 10-14 Elite Girls: Leah Shadwell, Lottie Clark, Alice Jordan, Iona Whaley.
⁃ Year 11-14 Girls Novice: Emily Burton, Sophia Calderwood, Hannah Ross, Samantha Morrison.
⁃ Years 1-6 boys novice: Max Clements, Henry Conibere, Luke Mooney, Saxon Lewis.
⁃ Year 7-8 boys novice:Blake Denham, Harry Irving, Tom Heseltine, Jacob Mooney.
⁃ Year 9-10 Girls Novice: Mimi Tatum, Daisy Weston, Izzy Challinor, Claudia Williams.
The Year 7-9 Elite girls team placed a fantastic 4th: Lucy Clegg, Lottie Baxter, Charlotte Grant, Elissia Smith.
We also had a number of individual placings with Otis Hughes and Tilly Fox placing second in their categories, and James Heald and Kaan Kafescioglu placing third.
This was a very special last ever national schools finals for our Year 13 students Lottie Clark, Leah Shadwell, Alice Jordan, Iona Whaley and Otis Hughes, who have represented the School for over 10 years. Not only have they achieved so much, they are fantastic role models and coaches for the younger pupils.
Congratulations to all involved, and a special mention to coach Rachael Burrows, for nurturing our pupils and helping them to achieve so highly.
