Senior Division Principal, Mrs Broadley, is delighted to announce the appointment of the new Year 11 student leadership team for the 2026/27 academic year. The students have been selected for their outstanding contributions to school life, their strong personal values, and their ability to inspire others.
Leading the team as Senior Division Captains are Naina and Dhiyaan. They will be supported by Academic Vice-Captains Kirat and Eva, Extra-Curricular Vice Captains Anvi and Ellie, and Principal Prefects James and Sofia.
Naina, who joined King’s in Year 7, has a passion for Maths and Biology. She is an accomplished performer, having achieved Grade 8 LAMDA Singing, and enjoys Drama alongside playing netball and hockey. As a committed Language Leader and keen debater, Naina is looking forward to representing King’s, inspiring younger pupils and welcoming new students into the school community.
Co-Captain Dhiyaan has a keen interest in Biology, Art and Music. A talented musician, he has achieved Grade 4 Drums and Grade 5 Singing and is a Club-level badminton player. He contributes to school life by supporting the Maths Clinic and studying music theory, and is particularly excited about the opportunity to report back to the School leaders.
Among the Academic Vice-Captains, Kirat enjoys Sciences, History and English, and is an active member of Chess Club and Animation Club. She is currently working towards Grade 6 LAMDA and regularly participates in school productions. This summer, she will volunteer as a reading mentor at her local library, and she is especially looking forward to helping new Year 7 pupils settle in—particularly as her younger brother joins the Senior Division.
Eva, who has been part of King’s since Year 2, excels in Geography, Art and Biology. A talented sportswoman, she represents Cheshire in netball and also plays hockey. She is eager to develop her leadership skills further in her vice captaincy role.

Alongside her sporting commitments, Anvi is working towards her LAMDA singing qualifications.
Ellie enjoys Drama and Biology and is a dedicated member of the school’s performing arts community. A regular performer in productions such as School of Rock, Ellie also develops her talents through Stagebox and Tempo Performing Arts. She is currently working towards her LAMDA Grade 5 in Singing and Grade 5 in Ballet. In her role as Extra-Curricular Vice Captain, Ellie is particularly looking forward to contributing to school assemblies, delivering notices!

Fellow Principal Prefect Sofia enjoys Religion and Drama, and serves as a Spanish Language Leader. Outside school, she participates in cheerleading, bringing energy and enthusiasm to all aspects of school life.
Throughout the year, the student leadership team will play an important role at King’s during what will be the school’s 525th anniversary year. They will lead assemblies, represent King’s at key events such as Open Day and Founders’ Day, and work closely with younger pupils to promote the school’s core values of kindness, respect and community spirit.
Mrs Broadley congratulated the incoming Leadership team, she said: “I am incredibly proud to announce this inspiring group of young leaders, who have already shown dedication, talent and a genuine commitment to our school community. As they enter Year 11, they will balance their studies with leadership responsibility, setting an outstanding example for others. I am confident they will lead with integrity and support their peers. They will play a vital role in shaping the continued success and spirit of King’s in the year ahead.”
Congratulations to all those appointed, we look forward to seeing the positive impact you will make next year.
