This week, we were delighted to welcome more than 100 Sixth Form students from a number of local schools including Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, All Hallows, Alsager, Bury Grammar, Cheadle Hulme School, Congleton High, Eaton Bank, Fallibroome Academy, King's Chester, Manchester High School for Girls, Queen's Chester, Sandbach and Withington Girls' School.
Students participated in our annual Leadership Conference for Sixth Form students, providing a fantastic opportunity for training and skill development. Students heard from a number of inspirational speakers including Gareth Beck, Managing Director of Morson Praxis, Juliette White, Chair of East Cheshire Hospice and former Vice-President at AstraZeneca, Mr Slack, King’s Head, and others who all presented on a different aspect of leadership theory and practice.
Drawing on their own vast experience, topics included leadership styles, teamworking, assertiveness and conflict management. Feedback from attendees and their teachers was incredibly positive.
