Shrigley Hall's panoramic backdrop proved a glorious setting for the arrival of King's Year 11 prom goers.
Always a special occasion in the student calendar, the prom marks the end of a challenging month of GCSE exams and heralds their arrival in the Sixth Form.
King's Head, Jason Slack, said: "It's a wonderful rite of passage enjoyed every bit as much by the parents and staff as it is by the young men and women. It is a fantastic celebration of everyone's hard work and dedication over the recent months and years, and it's great to see everyone enjoying themselves."
