Open Events

To really appreciate all that King's has to offer, and to experience first-hand our friendly community, we would encourage you to visit our school. We offer a number of organised Open Days and Taster Days throughout the year for all age groups from Early Years through to Sixth Form.

Infant & Junior Open & Taster Afternoons

We offer a number of Open Afternoons, Discovery Days and Taster Days for our younger children who wish to visit and learn more about our school and where we aim to give our children the very best start in life. 

Our Open Afternoons give families a chance to have a tour of the Infants and Juniors, meet our staff and pupils and see what amazing opportunities are on offer at King's.

Whole School Open Day - October 2020 

Our Whole School Open Day is held in the Autumn term and is designed to provide parents and children with an insight into 'life at King's' and show all that we have to offer future pupils.

We invite you to come along to meet our staff and pupils and have your questions answered. Our pupils will show you around the school and there will be an opportunity to hear from the Headmaster, Mr Jason Slack and in the Infant & Junior Division, there will be a talk by the Principal, Mrs Rachel Cookson.

This year our Open Day is a Virtual Event.

Sixth Form Open & Options Evenings (Oct-Nov 2020).

Our Open Evening gives you an opportunity to visit our Sixth Form provision, meet our staff and current Sixth Form pupils. You will be able to learn more about subject choices, sports provision, preparation for university and our careers service. 

Our Options Evening is usually held in late October early November is designed to give students a greater understanding of the subject choices available and the syllabus content. Every academic department will give talks describing the content of their A Level courses.

Midweek Tours

We also offer mid-week tours which are for small groups of families (typically 2 or 3 families) or individual families (by request). Tours are usually scheduled in the mornings, so that you can see us on a normal working day.
