Open Events
To really appreciate all that King's has to offer, and to experience first-hand our friendly community, we would encourage you to visit our school. We offer a number of organised Open Days and Taster Days throughout the year for all age groups from Early Years through to Sixth Form.
Sixth Form Options Evening
Thursday 13 November 2025
Our Options Evening in mid-November is designed to give students a greater understanding of the subject choices available, the syllabus content and assessment methods. Every academic department will give talks describing the content of their A Level courses.
Infant & Junior Open & Taster Afternoons
We offer a number of Open Afternoons, Discovery Days and Taster Days for our younger children who wish to visit and learn more about our school and where we aim to give our children the very best start in life.
Our Open Afternoons give families a chance to have a tour of the Infants and Juniors, meet our staff and pupils and see what amazing opportunities are on offer at King's.

Taster Day for current Year 5s (for Sept 2027 entry to the Senior School), Friday 3 July 2026
A fun-packed day for children currently in Year 5 to come and learn about what life is like in King’s Senior School.
This event runs for the whole day, from 9am – 3pm (lunch and snacks included). Pupils from all schools are invited to experience first-hand the opportunities for learning and enrichment at King's. Parents are warmly invited to join us for afternoon tea so that they too can gain an insight into what is special about King’s.

Whole School Open Day - October 2026
Our Whole School Open Day is held in the Autumn term and is designed to provide parents and children with an insight into 'life at King's' and show all that we have to offer future pupils.
We invite you to come along to meet our staff and pupils and have your questions answered. Our pupils will show you around the school and there will be an opportunity to hear from the Head, Mr Jason Slack and, in the Infant & Junior Division, from the Principal, Mrs Rachel Cookson.
Bookings will open in late August 2026.

Midweek Tours
We also offer mid-week tours which are for small groups of families (typically 2 or 3 families) or individual families (by request). Tours are usually scheduled in the mornings, so that you can see us on a normal working day.
