Admissions
King's is a selective school and the admissions for all age groups are handled by our Admissions Department, who would be only too happy to answer your questions. At King's, we do all we can to guide you through the process to make it as straightforward as possible.

At King's we deliver a broad and innovative curriculum, within a supportive and stimulating learning environment that fosters an atmosphere of intellectual challenge. One of our core aims is ‘to develop lively and enquiring minds’ with an inclusive approach to challenge and enrichment.

Co-Curricular
We are renowned for our excellence in music, drama, sport and other extra-curricular activities as well as being one of the largest Duke of Edinburgh Award Centres in the Country. Co-curricular opportunities start in the Infants right through to the Sixth Form.

School Uniform & Shop

All King's students wear a school uniform from Pre-School through to Year 11. Our Sixth Form students wear business dress (suits) as well as School PE kit. Students are encouraged to take pride in their appearance and we ask parents to support us in our aim of upholding a smart dress code.

Our School Shop is based in our Sports Centre. The shop is operated by Monkhouse and stocks a full range of uniform in addition to sportswear, sports equipment and stationery.

Details of the uniform requirements are provided in the 'Welcome Packs' sent out to families in May prior to joining King's in September. They are also available on our Parent Portal.

You may also like to visit the online shop to purchase items or to order garments for 'click & collect' at the school shop or for home delivery.

Our Friends of King's (PTA) committee runs a second-hand uniform shop.
